" Brad Green Media Interview "

Brad Green CEO/Founder of BradGreenMedia was born and raised in Bronx,NY. In high school he realized he enjoyed recording videos when he taped & edited basketball games for practice. After high school he lost interest temporarily. He resumed his craft again in August of 2011 when he made a pilgrimage to California with his new Canon Rebel and never put it down…

Q: When did your career start?

A: Well it depends on which career. Photography/Videos, I would have to say about four months ago. I have been making beats since 2004; started with a MPC 2000 now I use Reason and Recycle. I try to be creative all day everyday. I like to entertain and have a message as well. I feel as if my art speaks for itself.

Q: Describe your fantasy photograph + production:

A: My ideal fantasy photograph would be me on one of those hang gliders, some where like the Grand Canyon, gliding, snapping everything I see. Then when I get home, make a beat & create a video out of the photos.

Q: In your opinion, what makes photography an art?

A: What makes photography an art to me is that it is a forever captured moment of what you see; all the techniques, effects; its a form of expression.

Q: If there was an opportunity to shoot one person nude. Who would it be & why?

A: One person I would love to shoot nude would have to be Teyana Taylor. Check her out.

Q: Who are 3 people that you would like to work with in the near future?

A: Three people that I would like to work with would have to be, Kanye West, Cee Lo Green and Swizz Beatz.

Q: To sum it up. What can we expect from you this yr + where can the viewers find work from you ?

A: To sum it up, this year I will be focusing more on perfecting my “Art in Motion” craft, along with more instrumentals and pictures. I don’t do much talking.

"Weser Bros. Piano Spotting"

So 2hrs ago we decided to go outside and take some shots of this old Weser piano that one of the neighbors threw out. ( Totally disregarding the fact that it is 14 degrees outside + approaching 2AM) I dont know much about the value of this particular model, but if restored I am sure it would sell for something nice.

John A. Weser founded Weser Bros. Pianos in 1879. Weser pianos have been recognized for their quality of tone and beautiful case designs. Only the most skilled artisans are employed by this company. Weser grands have always enjoyed recognition in the  musical world and are noted for their beautiful appearance, durability and richness of tone. Over 125,000 pianos have been made by the Weser family.

Common Ground New York Presents: L’FANT x Revolution Now x Burgundy

At this event three brands came together to showcase the latest styles from there upcoming collections. Connoisseurs of all sorts got a chance to interact with the head designers of each brand to acquire a sense of their own personal vision. Each artist had interesting takes on what they felt was and is essential in order to tackle the cutthroat fashion industry. It was a very soothing atmosphere with good vibes and great networking. Look out for these brands! They are on the rise & we caught a glimpse of the process and longevity in all of these brands.

"Free Yourself"
Out in Syracuse, we found this little alley with this spread on the wall. It was quite interesting as it made us remember our first post about freedom. The kite & key symbolizes freedom. (to us at least); “it can be propelled to the top, but slip away just as easily.” What is freedom to you ?

Burgundy Update

Q: Since the last interview, what have you been up too?

A: Well we here at Burgundy have been working hard shooting for our print lookbook/styleguide which will be out early October.

Q: When can we expect a mass produced “Burgundy” line?

A: The Burgundy website is just about done, the site will have all of Burgundy products and services.

Q: Any new additions to the collection?

A: Art is a big part of the Burgundy brand and lifestyle and will also be on the site.

Q: What do you think about the new Tom Ford Collection?

A: I think “Smh” should describe it well, can or has Tom Ford gone wrong yet?

Q: Do you think living in a city that is not one of the “Fashion Cities” can affect your sales?

A: I know Miami is not the fashion city but I’m in NY (hometown) enough and I’m building in Miami because I feel as if Miami is on the comeup for art and fashion culture and soon will be respected.

Q: How does living on the beach in Miami differ from city life back in New York?

A: Haha I mean I have a beach/city view your not gonna get that in NY although I do miss just strolling around the city shopping eating and doing what ever it may be. But it’s more peaceful for me here.

Q: What are 5 must have on the go everyday items: & most prized possession.

A: Um, I don’t leave my house much but when I do leave, must have would be my converse always would never leave home without my iPhone and my business cards.

Check out Itsburgundy.blogspot.com for all Burgundy samples and information on the brand. Also check out LavellWPhotography.blogspot.com for more of Lavell’s photography. It’s not hard to believe that the Burgundy Official launch will be tremendously successful. Follow the Burgundy Team on twitter at @itsBurgundy
